Vibration of Vocal Folds

In this video, you see the vibration of the vocal folds during phonation. This is a stroboscopic recording, meaning the movements have been perceptually slowed down, as otherwise the vibration would not be visible to the human eye.

Movement of Speech Organs

This video is an MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) recording, showing the movements of the different speech organs during the speech production process in real time.
